THE BACKPACK

This is the kind of bag I’d grab when I know I’m going to be out all day. It’s comfortable, fits what I need, and still looks put together enough for work.

Needed something professional to bring to work, and this was perfect!!

I've been wanting to save money and start packing lunch for work but my old work bag would always get so bulky I didn't feel motivated to keep up with it. Modern Picnic totally changed the game for me, I've been bringing lunch to work every day since using this bag. It fits my water bottle and I love the utensil compartments!!

Beautiful bag with a luxury look, but disappointing functionality. The style is a 10/10, but the function and material are a 5/10. The bag is very stiff, making it difficult to get lunch containers in and out, and it doesn’t hold as much as expected. After less than two months, it also lost its shape. For the price, I expected much better quality and durability.

I wanted to love this bag because the style is absolutely stunning. It’s sophisticated, feminine, and looks far more like a luxury handbag than a traditional work or lunch bag. On appearance alone, it’s a 10 out of 10.

Unfortunately, the functionality doesn’t match the price. The bag is extremely stiff, making it difficult to get my lunch containers in and out of the insulated compartment. The interior is also much smaller than it appears. I couldn’t comfortably fit my 14-inch laptop, lunch, water, and coffee without feeling like I was forcing everything into the bag.

After less than two months of normal use, I was also disappointed to see that the bag no longer holds its shape. For a premium-priced bag, I expected the structure and materials to wear much better. (I’ve included a photo showing how the bottom has collapsed.)

I appreciate the concept, and the built-in insulation is a great idea, but the execution fell short for me. The style deserves a 10, but the functionality and material quality are closer to a 5, making it difficult to justify the price. I expected much better durability and usability for what I paid.
